While there were a lot of great announcements at D.I.C.E. 2015 this year my second favorite (Next to the HTC/Steam VIVE announcement) was the public conference between Gabe Newell (CEO of Steam) and J.J. Abrams (The director of the Star Trek reboots and The Force Awakens). Its exciting to hear that people are trying to both push the bounds of story telling and how there acknowledging there audience an, finding better ways to reach them. Will this lead to a new type of story? The right people are in play here so well just have to see. Oh and for those that stay to the end of the video, you might just hear some gossip on the best game to movie adaption ever (COUGH Half life: The Movie COUGH) or other magical crossovers.
